CreditBank is seeking an experienced and driven candidate for the role of Customer Service Supervisor.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving frontline sales within your assigned jurisdiction by acquiring new individual and business accounts, increasing deposits, and promoting EFTPOS solutions. Lead and mentor a team of staff to achieve key targets and deliver strong business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed branch goals. Implement strategies to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and increase branch revenue through proactive marketing and service initiatives. 
• Conduct face-to-face interviews and take telephone enquiries with current and prospective clients regarding CBP Products and Services. 
• Develop enduring relationships with CBP existing and prospective customers and demonstrate a solid understanding of key business sectors and industries. 
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring superior service delivery. Address customer concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution and continual service improvement. 
• Adhere to all Financial Prudential Standards and governance, risk and compliance policies and procedures. 
• Adhere to all internal frameworks, policies and procedures. 
• Oversee and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the branch, including managing daily activities, setting operational goals, and implementing effective processes and procedures. 
• Monitor branch performance metrics, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Prepare regular reports for senior management and use data-driven insights to improve performance. 

• Oversee the hiring and onboarding of new staff, ensuring that team members are aligned with the branch’s needs and company culture. Work to retain top talent through motivation and professional development.  

• Establish the branch as a positive presence in the local community. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to promote the branch and its services.

• Make quick and informed decisions in response to operational challenges or customer issues. Effectively resolve problems and implement long-term solutions that support branch success. 

Other duties

• Other duties as required by the Senior Manager Retail & Digital Distribution 

• The duty statement may be amended from time to time to reflect the changing requirements of the position. 

   

Key requirements

• 5+ years or more experience in a financial institution. 
• 5+ years’ experience in credit/loan assessment or loans officer role. 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) / interpersonal skills. 
• Strong negotiation skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, database, accounting software.
