Jerome Sesega

Jerome Sesega is a highly regarded lawyer with extensive experience in corporate law, commercial transactions and board governance across Papua New Guinea. He brings significant expertise in regulated industries including resources, aviation, education and hospitality, with a strong focus on governance, compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Mr Sesega has built a strong reputation as a specialist advisor to leading stakeholders in Papua New Guinea’s oil and gas sector. He currently serves as Company Secretary for the Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) Heritage Hotels Group, overseeing legal and governance matters across a multi-million kina portfolio of four hotels in Papua New Guinea. He also serves as Company Secretary for Bugulim Air Services Limited, MRDC’s aviation subsidiary.

In the education sector, Mr Sesega is Chairman and Company Secretary of Port Moresby Grammar School and serves as a Board Governing Councillor of Balimo Teachers’ College. He previously served as a Board Director and Legal Counsel for Transparency International PNG, contributing to anti-corruption advocacy and governance initiatives across Papua New Guinea.

Mr Sesega holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Papua New Guinea. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
