The sponsorship, marks another year of partnership between the bank and TIPNG, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening integrity and good governance across the country.
CreditBank PNG CEO Danny Robinson said the bank’s continued support of TIPNG reflects the core values that guide its operations and the important role the private sector plays in building trust and accountability.
“People trust us with their savings, their businesses, and their futures—and that trust only exists when integrity is at the centre of what we do,” Robinson said.
“Our partnership with Transparency International PNG is something we are very proud of. Credit Corporation now CreditBank has been a corporate member since 2001, and that relationship represents a shared belief that Papua New Guinea can—and should—do better when it comes to honesty, accountability, and good governance.”
Robinson said initiatives such as the annual Sir Anthony Siaguru Walk Against Corruption demonstrate how organisations can work together to raise awareness and encourage community participation in the fight against corruption.
Stating that CreditBank has actively supported the event in recent years, including encouraging staff participation and sponsoring school teams to involve young people in conversations around integrity and leadership.
TIPNG Chief Executive Officer Arianne Kassman thanked CreditBank PNG for its continued support, highlighting the importance of partnerships with the private sector in advancing anti-corruption efforts in Papua New Guinea.
“We thank CreditBank PNG for its ongoing commitment to our work,” Kassman said. “Support from organisations like CreditBank enables us to continue delivering programs that promote transparency, civic education, and public accountability. These partnerships are vital in helping build a stronger culture of integrity across our country.”
The sponsorship will contribute to TIPNG’s ongoing programs, including advocacy campaigns, civic education initiatives, and community engagement activities aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in both the public and private sectors.
Through partnerships such as this, CreditBank PNG continues to support initiatives that promote good governance and help build a more transparent and accountable Papua New Guinea.
