Designed to deliver a smooth and seamless banking experience for its customers, the Waigani branch features a welcoming interior, self-service kiosks that simplify everyday banking and offers customers direct access to CreditBank’s branch team for personalised support.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, CreditBank PNG CEO, Danny Robinson, highlighted the importance of the new branch in supporting its customers while continuing the bank’s broader transformation.
“The opening of our Waigani branch is a significant milestone in our journey. It represents our continued commitment to bringing accessible banking services closer to our customers and the communities we serve.”
He further added that while expanding its physical presence, CreditBank PNG continues to lead in digital banking. Its digital-first approach allows customers to open their accounts online via the CBP Mobile App and manage their daily banking from the comfort of their homes.
“I am pleased to share that CreditBank now serves customers across all 22 provinces, with 68% opening their accounts online via the CBP app. This is a clear sign that digital banking is the way forward and CreditBank is proud to be leading that transformation in PNG,” said CreditBank CEO, Danny Robinson.
In addition to the new Waigani Branch, CreditBank PNG also has established branches in Lae, Mt Hagen and Kokopo.
